What does "native integration" actually mean?

Semos Cloud builds its integrations to run inside each HCM platform's own infrastructure. For SAP, the platform runs on SAP Business Technology Platform with SuccessFactors as the live system of record. For Workday, Semos Cloud is built on Workday Extend. For Oracle, Semos Cloud connects directly to Oracle HCM Cloud data. Employees access Semos Cloud features without leaving their HCM environment.

What is the SAP Spotlight+ designation?

SAP Spotlight+ is a designation within the SAP partner ecosystem awarded to solutions that demonstrate deep technical integration with SAP's platform and proven adoption across large enterprise deployments. Semos Cloud earned the Spotlight+ designation for Total Rewards in 2024. SAP itself runs Semos Cloud for 100,000 employees.

What is the Workday Innovation Partner designation?

The Workday Innovation Partner program recognizes solutions that have built certified, native integrations with Workday HCM and demonstrated enterprise-scale deployment. Semos Cloud received the Innovation Partner designation in July 2025. The integration is built on Workday Extend, which means Semos Cloud is part of the Workday platform infrastructure.

Does Semos Cloud replace or modify the existing HCM configuration?

Semos Cloud sits as an experience layer inside the HCM. The platform reads from and writes to the HCM's data model without altering the underlying configuration. For clients with complex or customized SAP, Workday, or Oracle environments, this means the implementation doesn't require a change management program around the core HCM.

Can a client run Semos Cloud if they're mid-migration between HCMs?

Yes, and several clients do. Because each HCM integration is built independently and natively, a client can run Semos Cloud on SAP SuccessFactors today and migrate the Semos Cloud integration to Workday when the HCM migration completes. The employee experience layer doesn't restart from scratch when the underlying HCM changes.

What types of partners does Semos Cloud work with?

Semos Cloud works with three types of partners. Technology partners are HCM platforms and software vendors whose infrastructure Semos Cloud integrates with. Strategic partners are major SIs, global consulting firms, and enterprise advisory firms who include Semos Cloud as part of their service delivery. Channel partners are regional consultancies, VARs, and SAP/Workday/Oracle specialists who resell or co-sell Semos Cloud as part of their client engagements.

How long does implementation take for organizations already on SAP, Workday, or Oracle?

For organizations with a standard SAP SuccessFactors or Workday configuration, implementation typically takes 6-8 weeks. Oracle deployments vary based on the complexity of the existing HCM setup. Semos Cloud's implementation partners, many of whom are SAP Gold Partners or Workday certified, handle the technical integration as part of their existing client relationships.

How do I become an implementation partner?

The application takes about 5 minutes. The Semos Cloud partner team reviews applications and schedules a call within 48 hours. Technical certification and onboarding typically takes 2-4 weeks. There's no minimum deal volume to apply.
